Kurt Angle v Bret Hart

TNA’s regurlar Jail Bird against WWE’s ex-Golden Boy? The Hitman vs Mr. Wrestling? Time to ring that Fantasy Bell!

Highest Popularity – Kurt Angle got into wrestling as a kid, and won the 1996 Olympics Gold Medal for the Americans at Amatuer Wrestling. he then used that achievemnt (and newly found fame) to jump to PRO Wrestling and wore the red, white and blue, and was immediately a hit. However he was only known in the USA, and therefore everywhere else couldnt care less for him. Bret Hart however was an 80′s fashion icon, wearing and daring in Bright Pink and Black, with the greasiest hair going, but there was someting about that that every young lad (and this boy – me ) wanted to be! And he was much loved no matter which country you were in. I’d say Bret Hart has the edge here. WINNER = Bret Hart

Best Move Set – In his day Bret Hart was innovative. Now he would barely stand out, still its a good moveset and mainly consists of moves on the ground. Kurt Angle however is always adding to his arsenal and shifts with the time. His recent moonsault off the top of the cage at TNA LockDown 2010 was AWESOME! Only one winner here!  WINNER = Kurt Angle (He has the BEST Move Set)

Worst Ego – Some say Kurt has one, but when Jeff Jarret was sent home and Kurt was put in a writing storyline capacity, the Main Event Mafia immediately disbanded (Kurt was the leader of the MEM and were a group of past stars that were running over younger and more talented guys). And Kurt Angle had some great matches with younger talent going over and laying down. Proving his massive ego was just false. Bret Hart however couldn’t lose the title in his hometown causing the biggest screwjob in wrestling history, and then refusing to accept his role in the mess for a HUGE 12 years. Ego or what?  WINNER = Bret Hart (He has the WORST Ego)

Best Mic Skills -  Kurt Angle is a good talker, but since joining TNA, he has sometimes been incoherent, and sometimes runs into diatribe and confusion sets in among his listeners. However he does still remain a good talker, if he sticks to the subject. Bret Hart may have had all his interviews scripted for him (most likely) but he did alway connect with the fans. And for this effort on parts its a stalemate - WINNER = DRAW (Both have Great Mic Skills)

OVERALL WINNER – Bret Hart. Both legends have had there issues with the WWE, so i would say Bret Hart screws over Vince and jumps to TNA. Then these two have the match! During which, Kurt Angle looks strong but towards the end, Bret Hart grows super human strength and bounces back from the beating of his life and counters the Ankle Lock into a Sharp Shooter. Kurt angle blows red and then Taps out. the fans go mental and applaud Kurt the most for agreeing to put over Bret. Bret gets pissed about that and doesnt talk to his maid for twenty years. lol

Watching SmackDown a few weeks ago (the one which WWE NXT Rookie Darren Young was allegedly going to join the Straight Edge Society) I couldn’t help but think I had seen Darren Young somewhere before. His mannerism’s are uncanny, his smile bringing Deja-Vu. Then it snapped. JOHN CENA. But could this BLACK wrestler be a spit of WHITE Wrestler John Cena? In my view. YES. Colour, of course has NOTHING to do with this. These two could have been seperated at birth. I think we need to check out they’re Birth Certificates and/or Family Tree.

The Undertaker v Sting

Will the WWE’s Resident Evil bury the Icon, Sting? Or will the face painted veteran Splash the Dead man? Ring that Fantasy Bell!

Highest Popularity – Taker is without a doubt a staple in the WWE. When you say Undertaker, most people associate that with wrestling, rather than theyre local funeral parlour. Sting on the overhand was WCW. Now he’s in TNA though, his popularity is only as big as the minor league – Small. Our winner here is undenied. – WINNER = The Undertaker.

Best Move Set – Both men have had LEGENDARY matches. Theres no denying that. While neither man is a high flyer, A technician, or even a mat grappler. BOTH excel at what they do best – Brawling. Its hard to decide who would win in this category. Hence a DRAW. WINNER = DRAW

Worst Ego - Another tough one huh? Well. Lets di-sect this one. Taker doesnt want to lose his WrestleMania streak. But is that ego or history making? Im not sure. Sting on the other hand has won at EVERY Bound For Glory. But IS that ego or TNA mangement? Taker was known to “threaten” Shawn Michaels minutes before his match at WM 14 (Shawn didnt want to job to Austin, until taker made him see sense) and Sting put many a young star over in WCW. This calls for another Stalemate. WINNER = DRAW

Best Mic Skills – Sting is good on the mic, but hes no match for the Deadman. Taker captivates the audience when he speaks, and causes his opponent to quake in theyre boots. The Deadman is walking with this one. WINNER = The Undertaker

OVERALL WINNER – The Undertaker. Lets face it, this match is NOT going to happen. But if it did, it would have to be at WRESTLEMANIA! And sadly for Sting fans, the Deadmans undefeated streak would remain intact. But that wouldnt hurt Sting one bit as both men are bonafide LEGENDS!

Did you see The Rock on SmackDown last night? If you didn’t, or if you did, but want to re-watch it, then take a look! He is SORELY missed by myself, and hope to god that the Raw Guest host thing comes to fruition!

Is Raw any good anymore? hmmmmm....

Its Monday and all wrestling fans know that Monday means Raw! But Raw isn’t what it used to be is it?

Some Reverend that nobody’s ever heard of is hosting tonight, and the main attraction (and probably Main Event) is Cena vs Orton & Jerishow. Im not holding my breath for tonight, but have fun everybody that watches it!
